	WEST HURLEY, ten miles from Kingston Point and 530 feet above the river. This a small hamlet a few rods to the left, mainly devoted to the quarrying and shipping of blue stone, which is found in great abundance all through this region. There are two or three churches, two hotels, and several stores and shops.
