U&D engines not immediately scrapped upon NYC takeover in February, 1932, initially kept their U&D numbers under NYC ownership. In the general NYC renumbering of 1936, former U&D engines were renumbered into the 800 series; those still on the roster at the 1948 renumbering went into the 1200 series. 802, 804, and 811 were assigned nos. 1217, 1219, and 1224, but never actually renumbered before being scrapped.
