To stimulate traffic along its line between East Branch and Arkville, the Delaware & Eastern (Delaware & Northern after 1911) constructed several creameries. Most were immediately leased to local dairy concerns; the Pepacton creamery was leased to the Borden Company immediately after its construction. The building survived past the railroad's end in 1942 as the B&B Creamery but was lost with the rest of the village of Pepacton during construction of its namesake reservoir. |
